So, how much energy does that notebook computer brick REALLY take up? What about your refrigerator or that lamp in the corner of the room. At Energy Camp in Las Vegas, we talked about easy ways to measure this but didn't list any products. Now, thanks to Callie J, we've got some more information:

For example, there is:

  • P3's Kill-A-Watt meter which can be found for under $30.
  • Watt's Up (you'll need to scroll down to see it) which does the same thing as Kill-A-Watt, but can also send the data to your computer for further analysis.
