Welcome Wiki Users!
Welcome to the community documentation and support portal for Energy Camp. This portal is a wiki so that all attendees of Energy Camp can work in partnership to refine the information that's presented.
In order to begin collaborating, you must first create an account and login.
Wiki overview
A wiki is a read/write Web technology that facilitates collaboration of knowledge, information, and ideas. The true benefit of wiki technology is that multiple people can hone a wiki page to perfection so that it either:
- best represents the community's knowledge of a specific topic,
- frames an idea in the eyes of an entire community rather than just one person, or
- facilitates some form of collaboration that we haven't thought of yet (actually, there are many more uses).
Generally, the Energy Camp wiki has been set up for the community of information technologists who have an interest in energy savings and a sustainable planet. Specifically, this wiki provides a place for those attending Energy Camp @Interop to share thoughts and ideas.
Getting started
Tell us about yourself
- Create a personal profile page to introduce yourself and your areas of expertise
Share your thoughts
- Propose a discussion topic to lead during the unconference
- Contribute to the online conversation by adding your thoughts to Energy Camp's "Ways to Save the Earth" page
- Develop best practices by reviewing and adding to Energy Camp's Best Practices document
